Tall Tales of a Pioneer
Based on the life of
a real Montana pioneer, this novel reveals the stamina and high ideals
of those days of struggle, privation, and laughter. Harry Younger races
to claim his homestead, lies about his age, fights blizzards, floods and
fire to keep it. A half-breed warns him the Spirit of Aknissal will
drive him out, but Harry refuses to give up until nature itself destroys

blanket of smoke, I stumbled down the bluff to the river. A solid

the cabin—flames cracking around my boots.
